email received from Igloo Energy 8/3/18:
Thanks for getting in touch.
We do support Economy 10 meters, although we don’t offer a differentiated tariff. At Igloo we like to keep things simple by just offering the one tariff. An E7/E10 customer would pay the same unit price for each rate. You can find out the unit prices for each area here: https://igloo.energy/page/services/
Of course, depending on how much energy a customer typically uses on the E7/E10 rates this may or may not work out beneficial and we’d encourage customers to compare projections between ours and E7/E10 tariffs. We have a very competitive price and we often find it still works out cheaper for a customer to come across to Igloo. We are however very aware this is very much dependant on how their heating/hot water and would always look to have that discussion with the customer to check they are aware too.
Hope this is helpful, if you have any further questions please let me know.
As we don’t offer an E10 tariff, we don’t fit E10 meters. The only case in which we would, is if an exisiting E10 meter developed a fault.
We would take on customers with 3 rate meters or related MPAN’s. The same unit price applies to each rate and a standing charge applies per meter.
