I’m currently in the process of trying to change electricity supplier, and am calling round to see exactly what level of support different suppliers offer for E10. Two suppliers in a row (Foxglove and People’s Energy) have told me that they will take over an E10 meter, but only supply 7 hours of off-peak electricity, effectively eliminating one of the three off-peak periods I currently get.
That leaves me with two questions. First, has anyone else come across this? (I didn’t even know it was possible, as I thought the peak/off-peak periods were controlled by the meter, not the supplier.) Second, does this count as support for E10, or not? (I’m not sure whether to cite Foxglove as supporting E10, or not supporting it.)
