Whatever you do don’t sign up to Together Energy. Customer service is abysmal. I’ve been with them for two years but only because they hadn’t billed me since July 2018 and I seemed unable to get them to do anything despite saying I had a credit of £913 at that time.
Had to go to the Ombudsman to get any action but I have finally now found a contact who appears able to respond and I have managed to get a bill dated for 1 April 2019, still had a credit of over £500 but also managed to get it refunded. I am now due for renewal and am going to change whatever the quote I get from another supplier. Bit concerned that they still haven’t got billing up to date despite providing meter readings and probably still in credit. I hope that changing suppliers won’t jeopodise a final refund.
Had enough of Together Energy, now transferred to Octopus. Been with them a month and their customer service seems very good. Rates were not very different to Together but worth it to be rid of TE.
Have yet to receive a final bill from TE but they really need to get their act together. Over the final few weeks I was with them they managed to send me 3 sets of bills covering the whole period I was with them and none of these was in agreement, ranging from me owing them a few hundred to them owing me a few hundred. I’m waiting for the final bill before I do anything more but expect a disagreement on the final figure.
My contract is also up for renewal and I won’t be staying. Customer service and regular billing has plummeted. Ratings now very bad for TE. It’s a shame as they were very competitive but the new contracts are not. I’m currently on fixed April 19 ending in September at the following rates: #rates removed#
